Eirik Berge is a Norwegian musician and composer best known for his unique approach in arranging and composing for symphonic orchestras.
He was born in Stavanger, Norway, in 1976, and began his musical career as a pianoplayer in various jazz bands. However, it was his interest in symphonic music and film music that ultimately led him to forge his own path in the world of music.
Berge focuses on pushing the boundaries of music by exploring the potential of sound, rhythm, melody, and harmony, with a constant drive to innovate.
Over time, he has developed his own custom signature which is recognized by the audience.
Berge´s passion for a wide range of music has made him one of the most versatile arrangers in the Scandinavian music scene, thanks to his collaboration with artists across multiple genres, including Scottish and British singer-songwriters Lewis Capaldi and Passenger, Norwegian artists Aurora and Girl in Red, Swedish Zara Larsson, Danish Lukas Graham and Norwegian artist SISSEL.
His work include movies, theaterproductions and over 300 tvproductions.
Berge's innovative approach to composition, orchestration and arranging has earned him critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. He continues to push the boundaries of musical innovation, remaining at the forefront of the Scandinavian music scene.
